Equipped with a high-quality six-element glass lens and a fast 5.0-megapixel CCD sensor, the Polaroid PDC-5055 digital camera is a great choice for photographers looking to combine point-and-shoot simplicity with powerful performance.
The camera boasts a maximum still resolution of 2,560 x 1,920, with a focal length of 7.27 mm and aperture settings from 3.0 to 8.0. And though it doesn't offer an optical zoom, it does include a 4x digital zoom that lets you reel in your subjects.
The PDC-5055 is also outfitted with a fixed focus, your choice of auto and manual exposures, and a built-in flash with four modes (auto, fill, red-eye, and off). And thanks to the 16 MB of internal memory, it's easy to store your pictures and video clips on the camera, or on separately sold Secure Digital (SD) cards (the camera supports up to 512 MB).
